Photos
Here are a series of photos taken on January 20, 2003 while at the hospital
shortly after delivery of our beautiful baby Kate. Kate was a perfectly healthy
and beautiful girl weighing 9 lbs and 13 ounces and 22 inches in length. She
was absolutely perfect in every way. These photos were taken by family and nurses
and we treasure each and every one of them.

This was Kate's 20 week ultrasound photo. She was smiling at us in this photo
telling us how happy and healthy she was in mommy's womb.

We treasure this bear as one of the few items she held and touched while in
our arms. "Some only dream of angels, we held one in our arms." -Author

Kate was truly an angel and more beautiful than one could ever imagine. A full
head of hair, long dark eyelashes, pefect lips, pudgy cheeks....a precious gift
from heaven above sent here to allow us to give the gift of hope, help and love
to other families who endure this tragedy.

This is a photo taken of mommy, Kate and Daddy during Kate's baptism. Kate's
baptism at the hospital was very emotional yet healing and so meaningful. All
of our family gathered around the room to be a part of her baptism by Dr. John
Wantz. Although tears flooded our room, the experience was one that our family
will remember and treasure forever. Kate was and continues to be a true angel
in our lives.

Daddy held you close as much and as long as possible. He could not believe
how much you looked like your mommy. He always dreamed of a daughter that looked
just like mommy.

Kate's great grandmother and aunt were able to spend time with Kate as well
as many of other family members who rushed to our side to hold their granddaughter,
niece, cousin, greatgranddaughter. She had a very large impact on so many people
instantaneously after being born and continues to impact the lives of so many
through her nine short months on this earth. While she never took a breath outside
mommy's womb, she will have impacted more lives in such an enriching way than
most ever will in a lifetime. We thank her for her for the many special gifts
she blessed us with during her short stay with us on earth.

This is a Kate's Aunt Karalyn holding her with pure admiration for her peacefulness
and beauty.

Aunt Tammy holds her precious Kate and still proudly displays many of Kate's
photos throughout her home and refers to Kate as one of her nieces when asked
about her family. |
